As I kiss and hug my baby for her 18th birthday this morning, and watch her walk out the door for school as she gets in her new car...I reflect...born on this day @ 6:31 pm. Her proud parents Shawn & Niki and her 'sissy' Erin anxiously awaited her delivery, after a difficult induction and labor BUT what a blessing!
She was perfectly healthy and such a lil bundle. Her tiny fingers and toes-aww so cute! She had a little jaundice, but still rosy pink skin in color and so content as I held her on my breast and wept for joy and relief.
She was the cutest little toe-head and loved animals sooo much. She loved swimming and was great in competitive gymnastics.
She's been through a lot with my divorce and re-marrying, but she is such a great young lady.
She's a hard worker, is a great student and I'm so proud of her.
She's got such a big heart and is so kind.
The time I've had to nurture her, teach her, guide her has been such an honor.
To see her now in her Senior year and moving on in life is so exciting that I'm crying!
You mean so much to me Lyns.
